Let me break it down for you - you can wait weeks, months even, hoping that your site gets picked up. Or you can buy a high PR backlink on a prominant, related site. This may even take a while to get you indexed.

And these are both sucker bets.

The quickest, and imho best, way to get your site indexed? Cross-linked social bookmarking. Let that soak in for a second before I go on. Feelin it? Good, lets continue.

Cross linking social bookmarking sites is easy. People have been doing this since the minute someone realized that “Hey, Google crawls these damn sites every 2.4 seconds. I should get in on that.” It’s simple, it isn’t really that time consuming - and best of all, it can be outsourced for next to nothing. I pay as little as $3 per site, to get new sites indexed.

Want to know how powerful this is? I bought www.NewMissionWear.com (my newest phpBay Pro site) on February 8th, 2009 around 2:30am. I then proceeded to put up a single blog post entitled “test” that had no content whatsoever. The site was, for all intents and purposes, quite worthless at this point. I went to bed. When I awoke around 6 hours later, it was indexed in Google. It had happened sometime around 3:00 am, roughly 30 minutes after I bought the domain.

I’ve seen sites show up in the SERPS within 15 minutes using this method. I bet you’re interested now, if you weren’t before.

This is a simple breakdown of how this works:

1) Create accounts at various social bookmarking sites for your new site (such as Digg, Propeller, etc)

2) Enter descriptions and links to your new site

3) Go back and edit each page to link to one other page. Example - link digg to propeller, propeller to sphinn, sphinn to digg. Now they all create a nice linked circle, and best of all its essentially a spider trap.

4) Enjoy being indexed nearly immediately.
